Welcome to the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards!

Here we go!

Jane Lynch is here! Singing about TV! with Jeremy Piven dancing, ahhhhh McSteamy! The Big Bang Theory set! She's walking through all the sets! I love it! RANDY! yes, America Votes, for American Idol. Dancing with the Stars. And then on to the MadMen set. and then she makes fun of the Glee kids, saying they're high school students who look like they're 24 haha. And then she meets Sue Sylvester on the stage, and Jane slushies her! YES!

Welcome to the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards!

My Predictions for the first 2 awards:
I'm really hoping that Modern Family takes it home! I am a huge fan of that show.
Best Supporting Actress: Jane Lynch!
Best Supporting Actor: anyone from Modern Family! or Jon Cryer would really deserve it too!

Jane Lynch can kinda sing haha, that opening could have been funnier, but I'm impressed with Jane Lynch! She put on a great show!

She said Katie Holmes is in the house and she would love to make fun of her but she's scared of her husband. She brought the Emmy-tones! Wilmer Valderama is in the pack. Too cute! and Joel McHale too. not really sure who the rest of them are!

Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel are out first to present! They're so damn funny.
The Winner for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series is: Julie Bowen from Modern Family! So great! Love Modern Family! This was a huge surprise to her as well as everyone else. But I say it's well deserved for sure.

The Winner for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series is: TY BURRELL from Modern Family! Modern Family is taking it home tonight. Such a funny show. Amazed at this one too! And he was up against Jon Cryer!

Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series goes to: Michael Allan Spiller, MODERN FAMILY!
Cleaning house I say! Cleaning house!

Zooey and Will Arnett are out for presenting Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series, and the winner is: MODERN FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!! Wow... can we move on? I mean I love the show and all, but can we give the other guys a chance??? haha

Jane Lynch says: Welcome back to the Modern Family Awards! Nice! She said they might throw them in  to the drama

Charlie Sheeeeen!!!!!!!!!! Before he presents outstanding lead actor in a comedy series, he wants to take a moment to get something off his chest and say something to everyone!
He wishes them nothing but the best for the upcoming season! They spent 8 wonderful years together and he knows they will continue to make great television. Now onto the Emmy for OUTSTANDING LEAD ACTOR IN A COMEDY SERIES: Jim Parsons from Big Bang Theory WINS!

Here comes Rob Low and Sophia from Modern Family! I really don't know how to spell her last name lol. Nominees for Best Lead Actress in a Comedy Series... And there we go, Amy Poehler was the first to be read off and she ran up on stage hahahaha They're all going up on stage! I LOVE IT! Here comes Melissa McCarthy, Martha from Raising Hope, Edy Falco too, Tina Fey from 30 Rock, and Laura Linney from the Big C! And the Emmy goes to: Melissa McCartney for Mike and Molly! NO WAY! I'm shocked but very happy for her! hahaha they're putting a crown on her and giving her roses... I love it!

Jane Lynch just did a dress change!

The Winner for Outstanding reality competition program is: AMAZING RACE! They won in 2009 too! American Idol and Dancing with the Stars lost... I'm a sad girl about this one.

Outstanding writing for a variety/music/comedy series: THE DAILY SHOW WITH JON STEWART!
LOL THEY just showed Justin Timberlake as alllll of the SNL writers! Love it. I LOVE HIM!

The Lonely Island and Michael Bolton! Andy Samberg with Michael Bolton. This is weird, I wish Justin Timberlake was in it... :-( But Akon just came out on stage singing I just had Sex... lol This is the most random thing I've ever watched! Is Michael Bolton really struggling that bad for some work?

The 63rd Emmy Awards Red Carpet!

Welcome to another award show red carpet, blogged by: KELLY G :-)

Jane Lynch looks great in her purple dress! She's looking nervous but excited for her opening of tonight's show. It's going to be a good one. I can feel it! GO JANE LYNCH!

YAY!!!! Zooey Deschanel! The New Girl! This show is going to be a major standout this year on Fox! I know it, I may or may not have seen the pilot episode already, y'all really need to catch this show this Tuesday at 9 on Fox24! All I have to say is: DOUCHEBAG JAR! haha

Lea Michele from Glee looks wonderful in her red dress, loving the shoulders, looks like roses are on the caps of her shoulders.
RED IS ALLL OVER THIS RED CARPET!

Mr. and Mrs. David Boreanaz look good... what's going on with his hair tho? that part looks goofy. anyway...

Will Arnett and Amy Poehler are on the red carpet. Love them. A funny couple and his new show is awesome too! She's probably one of my favorite people when she's on SNL. Hilarious, and so great to know they can have a family and do what they do and be so successful.

Steve Carell is up for a nomination for The Office. He left The Office to be with his family more... AWWWW!

Hugh Laurie from House, ahhhhh his accent, it's been a while since I've heard him talk with the accent instead of like a mean a hole on HOUSE haha

The lady, Betty White! She's up for a nomination for Hot in Cleveland. She's turning 90 soon! WOW!

Wow! Matt LeBlanc! Look at him! He has gray hair, and still looks good. I miss Joey!

Loretta Devine! She won for Greys Anatomy and she's back! Looking great! But I love her purse more than the dress... Everyone is excited about Jane Lynch!

ahhhhhh I just caught a glimpse of Andy Sanberg! LOVE HIM! "I'm on a boat"

Ahhhh Wilmer Valderama, haven't seen him in forever! He's performing tonight, and he'll be on stage with Jane tonight too! YAY! Can't wait for this.

20 minutes until showtime! It's gonna be wonderful!

Jimmy Kimmel is skinny as heck! Look at him, he's lost so much weight! He's presenting with Jimmy Fallon tonight!

LL Cool J looking good in his bow-tie and his applejack hat. He says his favorite guilty tv pleasure is swamp people! I love it! I sure do miss LL, he's a funny, cute guy.

6 minutes until showtime!

Melissa McCarthy is up for outstanding lead actress in a comedy for Mike and Molly. I'm not sure how I feel about this. This show has always been one of those, I'll watch if it's on, but I'll get annoyed with it after about 5 minutes. She's a great comedian and so fun, and soooo funny in Bridesmaids but I can't seem to catch on to the whole Mike and Molly thing where they are nonstop laughing over fat! yuck!

Here comes the real deal!
Jane Lynch is about to take the stage!
the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards! NOW!

DANCING WITH THE STARS SEASON 13!

  HLN host Nancy Grace
   Reality star Kristin Cavallari
Talk show host Ricki Lake
Singer (Wilson Phillips) Chynna Phillips
Soccer star Hope Solo
 George Clooney's ex, Elisabetta Canalis
Actor David Arquette
Reality star Rob Kardashian
Soap star (All my Children) and Army Vet J.R. Martinez
Sonny Bono's son Chaz Bono
Basketball player Ron Artest
Fashion guru Carson Kressley

Okay, so who am I excited about? I've gotta say I'm pumped to see Kristin Cavallari, nothing like shoving it to your ex and going on another reality show that makes you look super sexy, but then again that's what Elisabetta is doing too! George Clooney who?

David Arquette might as well shove it to his ex as well, do something positive with your life after all the breakup rumors, the divorce, and the rehab.

Hope Solo is another one that I think will be pretty awesome, she's in great shape, and her coordination is great from playing soccer goalie! GO USA!

And who could forget Rob Kardashian, I don't think he'll be that great, but I could be wrong. I just like watching him and his Kooky family!

NANCY GRACE! This is going to be classic! I can't wait to see what she has to say when the judges tell her anything remotely close to her not doing well... She's going to light them up and the devil is going to dance!

Chaz Bono, no comment, Chaz Bono, himself! Go Boy Go?

We know Carson is going to give us a good laugh and I can't wait to see what he has to say about the fashions!

I thiink this is going to be a great season! But we all know, my favorite was when Hines Ward from the Steelers won! GO BURGH!

2011 MTV VMA's Translated by Kelly G!

This is it! The moment we've all been waiting for! THE 2011 VMA's are here!

There's a little light on the stage, a guy is smoking a cigarette, who could that be... holy shit! It's LADY GAGA AS A GUY! His name is Joe Calgarone, her alter ego... She seriously looks like she came out of the movie, the Outsiders. Lady Gaga left Joe, she says it always starts out good and then the guys, get crazy... He/She calls herself crazy... Wow... what an actress. She's making fun of herself lol. Everyone's reactions are priceless! Katy Perry is in awe! Britney has her mouth wide open!

I'm in shock right now... she holds nothing back when she gets on stage! Katie Holmes is even in shock! Now she went back to the piano and starts singing as Lady Gaga, You and I! She's so talented, she gives me goosebumps, she's pure theater, and she knows how to entertain! She's changing it for everyone else! I hate to say it, but if Britney still was IN THE GAME, she wouldn't know what to do to compete with this stuff... This is a whole new level! Amazed with Lady Gaga and her talent. I'll shut up about that now. The performance is great! btw, she totally busted her ass when she jumped down from the piano... I think it hurt too, but the show must go on!

Kevin Hart just came out to say he's not hosting lol but MTV is stupid for making that decision. He tells Lil Wayne, not to skateboard, he's black. lol.

Moving on, that was lame. Jonah Hill and Nicki Minaj are the first to present an award. There she is in that weird outfit again. wtf. Jonah lost a lot of weight. People are telling him he's not funny anymore now that he's lost weight lol HILAROUS. He's the same chicken, he's just healthier.

NOMINEES FOR BEST POP VIDEO:
Katy Perry, TGIF
Adele, Rolling in the Deep
Bruno Mars, Grenade
Britney Spears, Till the world ends
Pitbull, Give me Everything
AND THE MOONMAN GOES TO: BRITNEY SPEARS! I JUST LET OUT A HOLY SHIT AGAIN LOL This VMA stuff really brings out my potty mouth! GO BRIT BRIT! Bring it back baby! She thanked god, her family, and said she loves Jason! AWWWWWW

Katy Perry was excited to talk to BritBrit! This is before the show started!

Next... Here comes JAY-Z and KANYE singing OTIS! WOW! Fire behind them, is Kanye wearing denim on denim? lol anyway, Jay is bringing back the Tims, looking good in his white tshirt. The flag just fell down behind them... well a handmade flag of some sort. Not much choreography, just them bouncing around and rapping, they could have done a lot better with this performance, but rumor has it, it was a last minute addition! Kanye's gotta make a better impression at this year's award show lol

And hold up, Beyonce is preggo! I mean she's glowing! AND SHOWING OFF A BABY BUMP!
Looking good lady!

awwww Justin and Selena have seats next to each other :-) So cute!

Shawn White and Miley Cyrus are up next to present the next award!
It's time for BEST ROCK VIDEO!
The Black Keys
Foo Fighters
Foster the PEOPLE!!!!
Mumford and Sons, LOVE THEM
Care the Elephant
AND THE MOONMAN GOES TO: FOO FIGHTERS! FINALLY THEY WIN A MOONMAN! They've been nominated for 12 of them and this is their first one! Congrats guys!

Wow... Will Ferrel, Jack Black and Jonah Hill come out as the future Beastie Boys!

LIL WAYNE
KANYE
LUPE FIASCO
NICKI MINAJ
CHRIS BROWN feat. Busta Rhymes
AND THE MOONMAN FOR THE BEST HIP HOP VIDEO GOES TO:
NICKI MINAJ!!!!!!!! GO GIRL GO!!!!!!!! She just kissed Lil Wayne as she got up and went on stage! She pretty much just rapped her thank yous lol

Nominees for Best Collaboration!
Pitbull feat. Neyo
Chris Brown and Busta Rhymes
Kanye West feat. Rihanna and Kid Cuddy
Katy Perry feat. Kanye West
Nicki Minaj feat. Drake
AND THE MOONMAN GOES TO: KATY PERRY AND KANYE! FOR ET!!!! Here we go Katy, get used to walking up there! she just said to Kanye, now is your time to interrupt me darlin! hahahahaha she said something like One! My first! And he said he has more...
That could have been tragic lol

HERE'S A GREAT PERFORMANCE: DAHLIN lol
Pitbull and Neyo! Give me Everything, let's see if he takes out the part about Lindsay Lohan. WOW! Did you see the lace outfit! That thing is risque!!! Busta Rhymes is in the audience bobbing his head. Love it! And Love Pitbull's red pants with navy pinstripe shirt and white blazer. Looking good. The Crowd is going nuts for this performance, I think this has got to be the song of the summer. No doubt about it. Ultimate party song!

Time for the Adele performance. She's up for Video of the Year. And this is her first performance on the VMA's. She hates singing in front of people, so I'm sure she's nervous as hell. But I have faith, she's going to be wonderful. She looks so classy. She's singing "someone like you" I can't wait for this one to hit the airwaves. She's got some amazing pipes on her. And it looks like she wants to cry while she sings and she is... It feels like we're in a 50's club, and she's the house band. She's just so vintage and she knows how to make you feel the music you're listening to... She's quite talented. I really hope she can swing away with the Video of the Year. She deserves it for all the heartache she put out for everyone to read her like a book.

Kim Kardashian! There she is in a stunning shiny long dress. Best Male Video:
CEE LO
KANYE
BRUNO MARS
JUSTIN BIEBER
EMINEM feat. Rihanna
AND THE MOONMAN FOR BEST MALE VIDEO GOES TO: JUSTIN BIEBER!!!!! YOU SMILE!!!!!!! And he hugs Selena before he runs up to accept his award from Kim! Yay for the Biebs! He thanks God, Jesus and says he wouldn't be here without him. He's blessed him. Thanks the nominees, says he's a true fan of all of them and shares it with them. Doesn't thank selena... c'mon boy, you can do it!

Joe Jonas just introduced CHRIS BROWN for his performance! Let's see what he can do with this performance. Already gives me goosebumps. He's in an all white suit, dancing like a fool. Chris Brown is back ladies and gentlemen. He's definitely lip-syncing, from what I can tell. but that guy can dance... Then he brings it back to 1993. Not too bad. 1991, Nirvana, and he dances to that... then there's trampolines, 2000, This isn't even a vocal performance... It's just a performance. Very creative. He's got lines attached to him, he's about to fly, YUP! There he goes! He's flying over the audience! I forgot how amazing he is at dancing. Chris Brown, the artist!

Here's Joe Calderone again... aka Lady Gaga! One of her biggest inspirations was Britney Spears. Britney taught her how to be fearless, she's a pop music legend, and the industry would not be the same without her. Holy crap, she just said she used to put posters of her on her wall and touch herself when she was in bed. Hope that's Joe talking and not Lady Gaga! haha
CONGRATS BRITNEY! Here's the performance, hell yeah, girls dancing in the catholic school girl outfit from hit me baby one more time. AHHHH OOPS I DID IT AGAIN! CRAZY! TOXIC! CIRCUS! HOLD IT AGAINST ME! SLAVE FOR YOU! TIL THE WORLD ENDS! It's Britney Bitch! That was really really cool! Here's Joe Calderone, telling everyone to stand the F$%% UP! And here's Britney! #goosebumps #loveher #that'smygirl #shejustkissedjoe HOLY SHIT! THEY ALMOST KISSED! and Britney said "I've done that already!" AND NOW IT'S TIME FOR BEYONCE'S PERFORMANCE! Lady Gaga is freaking me out, is she/he freaking you out? Lady Gaga is a creeper... as Joe Calderone! HERE'S BEYONCE! MAMA BEYONCE!

Love the jackets that Beyonce and her girls are wearing. This is old school and I love it. Singing to Jay-Z I know it! Love that they are so in love. They're one of my fav. celebrity couples for sure! Adele is dancing in her seat. Can't help but sway to this song. And there's Gaga as Joe Calderone, sitting next to Kanye and dancing with a drink in her hand haha classic! Then she dropped the mic! opened her shirt and showed off her baby bump! Then it's over to Kanye and Jay-Z celebrating! TOO CUTE!
http://www.mtv.com/videos/news/686198/beyonce-rubs-her-baby-bump-on-stage-at-the-vmas.jhtml

Tony Bennett was in the audience, can't wait to see the Amy Winehouse tribute!

TIME FOR BEST NEW ARTIST!
AND THE MOONMAN GOES TO: TYLER THE CREATOR!
He says it's for his little brother Earl, he's about to cry, he's wanted this since he was 9. Did you see the dude behind him with a kodak disposable camera taking pics of the crowd lol dude can't buy a digital camera? really?

Did anyone catch when 2 fans ran on stage during JayZ and Kanye's performance? He's a glimpse! They got him off pretty fast!

Here's a performance by YOUNG THE GIANT, their first VMA performance! Pretty awesome! I like these guys. Very different!

BEST FEMALE VIDEO
ADELE
KATY PERRY
BEYONCE
NICKI MINAJ
LADY GAGA
AND THE MOONMAN FOR BEST FEMALE VIDEO GOES TO: LADY GAGA! BORN THIS WAY! Here comes Joe Calderone! LOVE IT!!!!!! HE accepted the award for Gaga since she wasn't there, he thanked the Little Monsters too! Doesn't matter who you are, gay, straight, bi, lesbian, transgendered, you were born this way! Bless you MTV! Go Gaga! or Joe! WTF lol

AMY WINEHOUSE!
Russell Brand just walked out to Back to Black! He talked about when he first met her. His accent is ridiculous. He said she had extraordinary hair too. This makes me want to giggle, but I feel bad because she died... I guess it's better to smile than be sad. He wants to remind people there's a solution for the diseases of Alcoholism and Drug Addiction. He introduced Tony Bennett on a side stage, standing there, thanking everyone. He says that he went to the studios in London and he recorded with her. He says she had the gift of a true jazz artist. He said Amy had the whole gift. Here's the recording... Wow... She's soooo pretty in this video... What an amazing voice. Paired with one of my favs, Tony Bennett. We'll miss you Amy Winehouse! But you've left your mark! And we'll never forget you! Bruno Mars is brought out to do a performance in honor of Amy. They picked the perfect performer for this! Go Bruno! Probably one of my favorite performances tonight! Everyone in the audience is jamming, pics of Amy on the screen, Adele is singing along... There's a good feeling in the air!

Katie Holmes Just came out to announce VIDEO OF THE YEAR!
ADELE ROLLING IN THE DEEP
TYLER THE CREATOR YONKERS
KATY PERRY FIREWORK
BEASTIE BOYS MAKE SOME NOISE
BRUNO MARS GRENADE
and the MOONMAN FOR VIDEO OF THE YEAR GOES TO KATY PERRY!!!!!!!!!!!!! A kiss from her hubby and she's up on stage! But first, she hugs Adele! Her second Moonman Tonight!

Back on the stage, Drake! Love him! I have a feeling he's going to be introducing LIL WAYNE! YUP! Here's the man, the legend, LIL WAYNE! How to love! This stage is awesome! Look at that grill... Does he have an autotune on his mic? lol LOVE IT! He scares me, in a good way lol The censor guy has a lot of work in the next few minutes lol Shirt off! Ronnie from jersey shore in the audience on Vinny's shoulders lol holy crap, he plays the guitar too! Here we go! Awesome performance! LEGIT! Drop the mics!

And that's it! THE VMA's are OVER! GREAT NIGHT! I'll have all the details in the morning in my sleaze... www.95sx.com/sleaze

MTV VMA BLACK CARPET!

Here we go!

It's the MTV VMA's and it's time for some Black Carpet!

The Cast of Jersey Shore start it off, Wow, Deena's dress is like a skittles commercial, I'm actually loving Sammi's style. Her hair looks great, her dress is sexy, and her Tan is looking pretty awesome too!
The Situation knocked himself out so he's not there lol

Cobra Starship is kicking off the performance lineup. I had no idea what he looked like, definitely not what I pictured! Geek Chic baby! They're totally performing on the black carpet, not even on stage, i love it!

Selena Gomez is going to help co-host tonight, she's looking awesome in black! Really mature and a great speaker.

Wiz Khalifa is reppin' my Steelers tonight! YAY! He's nominated for Best New Artist!

Seth Rogan just came out on the Black Carpet, funny as hell, can't wait to see 50/50, comes out September 30th.

Selena Gomez is with Jessie J. She broke her ankle and so she is on some sweet crutches that she blinged out.

Jamba James is interviewing Taylor Lautner. He's soooo cute! I love it. Looking good in a black blazer over a relaxed button tshirt. He makes it look good.

I cannot wait to see BritBrit! just a little sidenote lol

Ashley from the MTV show AWKWARD, LOVE HER YELLOW DRESS! So Hot!

Selena is interviewing her boyfriend Justin Bieber. He's in red pants with leopard shoes. he has a snake with him named johnson. I'm pretty sure he just almost asked her if she wanted to touch his johnson.

Nicki Minaj just came down in the weirdest outfit ever. She has something on her face so it's tough for her to talk. She looks like a muppet trunk just threw her up. i'm soooooo confused right now. They just showed a sneak peak of "fly" featuring Rihanna. Definitely the opposite of her outfit, black and white, with a touch of pink. Rihanna looks great! Definitely love that song.

Foster the People are making their VMA appearance right now! Best new artist nominees.

Beyonce just walked in, stunning in red! She's one beautiful lady!

AHHHH THERE'S BRIT BRIT! She looks wonderful in a short black dress, hair down, so simple and stunning. Looking good mama!

KATY PERRY AND MR. Russell Brand! Katy looks adorable in her little umbrella, pink hair, she's got 10 nominations tonight... This is going to be a very very big night for her! Good luck to Katy!

And now... the black carpet is ending... It's time for the VMA's! AND LADY GAGA'S OPENING PERFORMANCE! Get the popcorn out. This is gonna be goooooooooooood and crazy! just the way I like it! Happy watching little monsters!

Oh Hey Blog! I wasn't tending to you... But here I am!

So it's been a while since I've posted anything. As far as what's going on in my life:

Me being an extra on Army Wives WILL HAPPEN next season! I am soooo excited. Catherine and Wendy have something set up for me :-)

I've been busy with Thirsty Thursdays at The Riverdogs! I get to throw out the first pitch each time and it's so fun. The first one was amazing, the second one, pretty decent but the third one, I actually stood on the mound and wow, I made it look special! :-)

Here's the second one:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I8tkBC3UNys

I've been working a lot, meeting new people in the area, having a great time with my girls and dating too! Meeting some great guys and having fun while doing it! I'm figuring out what it is that I want and need :-) Which is pretty awesome cuz I thought I knew, but now I'm figuring it out for real.

What kind of guy does Kelly G like?
- First off, his profile pic better not be made in microsoft Paint, he's gotta know how to make a profile pic without having white space around it haha
- He better make me laugh and he better laugh at my little stupid jokes
- animal lover, but of dogs, if he owns a cat, sorry, not a fan, ask mike the guy :-)
- gotta be taller than me
- likes to have actual phone conversations, not just texting all the time even tho it can be easier sometimes
- adventurous and active, nothing like a kayak trip one evening, or a bike ride around town
- has a job they love
- supportive
- won't make fun of me for being obsessive about twitter and facebook lol
- understands my love for apple products
- athletic and loves sports and going to games
- likes to go to the BEACH!
that's all for now... let me know if you can think of any other important qualities haha

Army Wives Update!

It seems like everywhere I go, I'm reminded of Army Wives and my Mission! I ran into Catherine Bell at the Prince concert, she even told me she was told she needs to follow me on twitter! AHHHH So exciting! I told her I'm trying to be an extra and she says she's excited to hang out on set!

I've been in touch with the casting crew and they're trying to find a day where I can come in after the show! :-) YAY! It will be much easier that way for both of us, I don't want to miss work! Wendy Davis even emailed me and she's trying hard for me too! I'm on my way to completing this mission, just wanted to update you on my status! Love you guys! Keep listening!

Kelly G's next big MISSION: ARMY WIVES!

I've tackled every mission that's been thrown my way, but now for a tough one... I want to have a CAMEO ON ARMY WIVES!

I'm DETERMINED. I've got my phone calls in, my emails in and I'm getting in touch with the right people. So what do I want to play? I will be a beautiful girl walking the beach with her dog Tatum (she wants a camo too lol), I'll be a love interest (duh, love those military boys), heck, I'll even play an army girl! I would love to put on that cameo and carry around a big gun in honor of the country!

Help me out! If you know anyway for me to get a spot on the show please let me know. I'm going to try and make this happen asap! WISH ME LUCK!

I LOVE ARMY WIVES and I LOVE CHARLESTON! What a better way to show my love and support for the USA and for Charleston, SC!

Top O' The St. Patty's Day to you!

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!
aka one of my favorite holidays, a day when it's ok to put green dye in your beer, wear a green t-shirt out and spend the day with all of your favorite drunks and irishmen. Oh, and for me, it's a day where it's ok for me to repeatedly beat the boys at IRISH CAR BOMBS! I'm serious too, my friends used to sell me off to my friends in bets that I could beat everyone at chugging these delicious bombs of car! lol

Here's what's going on around town for St. Pat's Day:

Tommy Condon's downtown always has my favorite irish music and a good time that starts at 9am with an irish breakfast and the celebration will go all day long!

NV Dance Lounge and Henry's downtown on the market are opening at 12:30 for a St. Patrick's Day Event! Live Music, drink specials, and an Irish good time!

O'Brion's Pubb is holding a huge block party at all three of their locations with Irish Food, drink specials green beer and more! The Party starts at noon!

Wild Wing Cafe is having a MArch Madness St Paddy's Day party with green beer and march madness brackets contests! The Mount Pleasant location will be holding IRISHFEST ALL DAY and the party will continue downtown and in North Charleston!

Red's Ice House will host it's sunset st. pat's day bash on shem creek.

The Brick will be opening at noon with irish food and drink all day.

O'Malley's on King street will have irish step dancers and fiddle players tonight.

Molly Darcy's on East Bay is opening at 10am with bagpipers and live music for the authentic irish experience.

AND DON'T FORGET TO WEAR GREEN!

American Idol - THE TOP 13!

Last night on American Idol they revealed the TOP 10... but wait, at the last minute they pulled a couple wild cards into the mix. At first we thought they were going to pick just 1 more, maybe 2, but not 3... They picked 3 more contestants and now there is a TOP 13!

Here they are:

Okay, enough about that. I have an issue. At first I loved the judges. I adored Steven Tyler's funny comments, ridiculous rants, and accidental swearing... I liked that JLo was so passionate and she made the judges LOOK good... And I was impressed that Randy was getting a little more strict about things, keeping it real but letting the contestants know when they sucked. Well, that's the only thing that I like now, Randy. He's the new Simon and he knows what he's doing. He even made a comment after Steven and JLo said that the girl who sang Rihanna was great. He realized he's gonna be the one being real. JLo and Steven were completely wrong, they said she was wonderful and moved the crowd and that's what it's all about, I DISAGREE! It's about singing and Randy even said "well looks like this is gonna happen a lot this season, but I have to say, that wasn't good at all." THANK YOU RANDY!

I'd also like to point out that for the first 4 contestants they went straight to Steven Tyler to start off the judging, but after him and JLO said they loved everyone and that they were great, and then Randy said they were bad... All the sudden it changed, Randy started off the judging for the rest of the show... INTERESTING!

When it came to adding 3 more to the top 10, they said it was the hardest decision.

http://www.etonline.com/tv/108403_The_Backstory_on_American_Idol_s_Surprise_13th_Pick/index.html

And I was disappointed that Kendra or Robbie weren't picked last. I didn't like the last girl they picked. I'll say it right now.  She was the girl who made her own dresses, Naima Adedapo. Honestly, I felt like they needed to fill a demographic by picking her and they didn't want to add another "America's favorite, typical goodie goodie" to the group. They had to put someone in that was DIFFERENT and that's Naima. She has a different look and style.

I'm gonna stand by this right now. I'm calling it. Paul McDonald is going to make it to the end. He's so great and my favorite. Mike and Tanya are gonna be biting their tongues when they said they didn't like him. I love him! What a great singer and personality! AND HE'S HOT! HELLO!

The 83rd Annual Academy Awards...Kelly G Style!

On the most important night in Hollywood, my internet decides to crap out for an hour... Of course, after my nerd-like qualities kicked in and fixed the issue, I'm back! And Wow! I'm in awe!

83 years of Oscar. My grandmother was born in 1929, I can't even begin to think what it's like to have been around for that long, plus to be around to witness all the great movies over that amount of time. Here goes nothing... Happy Academy Awards Night!

The Opening
James Franco and Anne Hathaway did a wonderful job with the opening video, they were pretty funny, and I think Anne Hathaway has completely beaten out James in the funny, beautiful and outgoing qualities! What a girl. I mean, if I liked girls, she'd be exactly like Justin Timberlake is to me right now. AMAZING, SEXY, HOT, TALENTED aka I want him. But... I like boys and Justin Timberlake will always be my celeb wanna-do (n. a celebrity that you want to sleep with, an exception to the rule, you can sleep with him/her without getting in trouble with your significant other, or just a celeb you want to do, if you're single)
Anne Hathaway looks stunning in her white dress, James Franco could use a little hair job, he looks a little messy. But Messy is hot these days right? Is there a possibility that he's high right now? Cuz I'm pretty sure his eyes are showing it, he only opens them when he's talking lol

Kirk Douglas gave away the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress and holy moly, he was hilarious. What a funny old man. He was funny, endearing, and he looked like he would have stayed up there all night if he wanted to. He even went on to say that he would never forget that moment. He asked why Anne Hathaway wasn't around when he was making pictures, cuz she is gorgeous, she blushed! It was a really cute moment. He was about to open the envelope for best supporting actress and stopped with a "Ya know?"... TWICE haha it had the crowd laughing and the women up for the award antsy!

Melissa Leo from THE FIGHTER won best supporting actress and yes, like any classy fighter lady, she dropped the F BOMB while accepting her award. In that moment, I fell in love. p.s. I want her dress! Congrats Melissa! (I picked Amy Adams to win for this, at least I got the movie part right)

One of my favorite moments of the night... you may think it's lame but I'm sooooo gonna talk about it.
HOW HOT DID JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE LOOK?!?!?!?!?! Ahhhhhh when he walked out on stage, I got 4 text messages from girlfriends saying "There's your man!" Yeah, I'm kinda obsessed and I make sure everyone knows. So shoot me. Well, Justin came out on stage to give out the Best Animated short and feature film award with Mila Kunis and I'm kinda upset at how great they look together. Jessica Biel better watch out. Mila and Justin look like a pretty hot couple, and Jessica, I'll help you take her down if you need me to. But I might end up hurting you as well ;-) maybe all those rumors of them hooking up are true!

And yes, Toy Story 3 won for Best Animated Feature Film :-) YAY PIXAR!... p.s. I didn't know that Steve Jobs was part of Pixar. That man just does it all now doesn't he?

James Franco came out in a red dress after Anne's awesome singing performance about how Hugh Jackman wouldn't perform with her, that girl can SING! anyway, in his red dress, hair, lipstick, heels, he made a Charlie Sheen joke!  "Weird part is I just got a text message from Charlie Sheen!" Wow. He makes an ugly chick, but I'm sure Charlie would be game as long as he's toasted right? Wait, that's all the time!

Russell Brand is annoying but god do I love him. He's pretty freaking hilarious, Katy, I'll borrow him anytime you need a break, I imagine you do!! He gave away the Best foreign language film award with Helen Miren!

Best Supporting Actor was given out by Reese Witherspoon. She looked great!
YES I WAS RIGHT!!!!! Christian Bale won BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR! I get one point! Wait, he needs to get rid of that beard, but hey british accent... I'm in love :-) He was the second to drop a joke about Melissa who "dropped the F bomb" during her acceptance speech!

I'm not gonna lie, there is a part of the Oscars that just bores me. The part with the guys who they thanked for being super smart and intelligent in cinematography, and then of course, stoned James Franco said "Thanks nerds!" what? really? that happened! Anyway, this part is boring to me too James Franco but I'm not going to call these men and women who make our movies, nerds. Can we just get to Best Actress and Best Actor? Oh and then finish it up with a great Best Picture Award! K thanks :-)

Best Costume Design, that's kinda interesting. Alice and Wonderland won for best costume design and I couldn't agree more, that movie had more funky and fun prints than the pillow aisle at World Market! Congrats Alice and Wonderland, you're taking them home tonight!

I've missed Mandy Moore and she did a great job singing for her song in "Tangled." Her dress was beautiful, she looks great in that sapphire blue with her long brown hair off to the side. That was a good moment! :-)

Jake Gyllenhaal and Amy Adams came out to present the Best Short Film. I have to say, Jake looked great, Amy, not so much. I'm not loving her glitter blue dress and diamond studded necklace, it was a little too much and she looked a lot older than she really is... Not a fan. Moving on.

Oprah Winfrey, one of my favorite women of all time, came out to present the award for Best Documentary of the Year. How is it that someone can be that much more famous than these amazing actors and actresses? I just started thinking, who doesn't know who Oprah is? And, is it possible that most of the actors and actresses in the audience get more starstuck and excited to see her when she comes out on stage than they would if it was a fellow actor? Maybe they just want to be on her show to promote themselves and their movies and they get excited and want her to know they love her? Ahhhh I got ahead of myself. Either way, I don't care. She's awesome and I would love to meet her one day, she amazes me on how she got to where she is today :-)

Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law... Hey now, white tie and white bow tie. Jude Law needs to stop licking his lips... that's just weird, that's the 5th, no wait, 7th time he's done it so far, oh wait, there he goes again... I'll stop :-)

Absolutely IN LOVE with Anne's red dress! It's stunning! Best dress of the night, SO FAR ;-)

Meanwhile, on the red carpet, some leading ladies wore red tonight... who wore it best? I gotta stick with Anne Hathaway, however, I think the red dress she wore on the show, was much hotter!

Gwenyth Paltrow just needs to give up... please, for the sake of music? Pretty please? She just looks like she's trying too hard, or trying out for American Idol, one of the two right? I'm disappointed in the people who are telling her she's good enough to do this stuff. I'm not a fan of her musically. The End.

Ahhhhhh the Oscar greats who we lost this past year. Always a tear-jerker. I'll skip my commentary and just take it all in.

"listen to your mother" had to add that one from the best director acceptance speech. Go King's Speech!

The BEST PICTURE: KING'S SPEECH!
I wanted Social Network to win, but I'm completely fine with this. This movie deserved it! Congrats to the King's Speech!

I'm Kelly G and that's your Oscars Run-Down! If you want to add anything just comment below :-)

Charlie Sheen... let me solve this!

I have an idea for Charlie Sheen. Since he seemed to think it was appropriate to blast the creator of Two & A Half Men on the radio this past week, which put production of the show on hold for the rest of the season. What about the people who work for the show? Does he feel bad about putting them out of work for the rest of the season? Of course he doesn't... he's too busy being cracked out! But, I want to submit my thoughts on this situation...

So Charlie... let's have a chat... I have an idea!

I think a Reality TV show needs to be started with you in rehab and no I don't mean you on an tropical island hanging out with hookers, I don't mean rehab in your house, I mean serious FOR REAL REHAB... and I think the entire cast and crew of 2 and a half men, needs to work on the show. This way they earn their keep and get to see you suffer just a bit after what you've put them through. Clean up your act you crazy ass! That's all I have to say about that!

Sincerely,
Kelly G

Facebook Changed My Life!

Facebook Changed My Life... in a BIG way!

I used to think Facebook only stirred drama and it was only good for "cyber-stalking" or as I like to call it, "browsing." I've had my fair share of Facebook drama, I think everyone has, from someone quoting something you've said on someone's wall and creating problems out of it, to relationship drama, girl drama, even as far as to say that it's created ridiculous rumors! Well, I now know that Facebook can be used for good, and it's a great way to reach after your dreams... And, That's what I did!

Thank you Mark Zuckerberg and thank you for creating the pages app so that I could send my dream out to my friends/family/loved ones and those who support me!

Here's My Facebook Story:
I was driving to work one day when I heard that a girl on 2 girls and a guy (the young party girl) was leaving the show to go up to DC for a new promotion on another station, immediately, I said to myself, I WANT THAT JOB! AND I'M GONNA FIGURE OUT A WAY TO GET IT! I was seriously unhappy in the job that I was working at the time, stuck behind a computer, answering the phone, designing things that just weren't "ME." I wanted a job where I could be me and love it and talk and share my interests and joys with people. EXACTLY what this new job could do for me!

I jumped on FACEBOOK the day after the big announcement (I didn't want to jump into the seat too fast, gotta give the old girl a chance to get through the excitement of leaving and moving forward with her career). I created a fan page called Two girls and a guy Need Kelly G! I've been called Kelly G all my life, Gukanovich is just too much of a mouthful and well, Kelly G has a good ring to it :-)
Right away I started adding videos of me as a young Charleston socialite, pictures of me and my girlfriends, uploaded videos of me talking so that Mike and Tanya could hear what I had to offer. Everyday my fans grew and grew, I went from 80 fans to 500 fans in the next few weeks. A few days later after I made the page and the excitement of people noticing my page started to happen, there I was... sitting at my computer, and I got a notification... A notification that changed my "dream" into somewhat of a reality... "MIKE THEGUY HAS COMMENTED ON YOUR STATUS" AHHHHHH He told me how he loved the initiative and wanted to meet me soon. Then the next thing I knew, I was scheduled for an audition... The rest is history!

Now, here I am... Kelly G on 2 girls and a guy in the morning on 95sx Hit Music Now!
Kelly G 2GG on Facebook

Facebook Changed My Life and I have Mark Zuckerberg and his crazy dreams to thank. One dream makes so many more... Thank you! I'm the happiest I've ever been!

In Facebook we trust ;-)

HOLD UP! It's National Margarita Day?

TIME TO CELEBRATE!
Change all of your plans. Time to celebrate this glorious day known
as National Margarita Day : February 22nd, 2011!

Let me take a moment to thank this wonderful drink...
•You've gotten me through some amazing times with my girlfriends
•You've given me blush on my cheeks when I've needed a little "red"
•You've been there for the fun times, but you've brought some bad times (day after)
•You go hand in hand with chips and salsa
•Your glass that you come in is absolutely fabulous
•You give me the courage to say what I want, sometimes this is a bad thing
•Salt around a rim? YES PLEASE
•You taste amazing...

Here's to you Margarita! May February 22nd never be the same!

A little Margarita History:
There are dozens of people who claim to be the creator of the first margarita drink. One of whom is a bartender named Willie from Mexico City. He says that in 1934 he concocted the drink for his friend, Marguerite Hemery (whom he named the drink after).

Salvador Negrete is another man who claims to be the inventor of margaritas. The day before his brother's marriage in 1936, Salvador presented the margarita cocktail as a wedding present to Margarita (his sister-in-law). There are various other stories of the drink's invention, but the true identity of the tequila master remains unknown.

"Party Girl" History and More!

I want to introduce y'all to the party side of Kelly G. How do I like to have a good time and with who, where, etc. Here's how I started, High School into college into after graduation.

High School - Ahhhhh I hated HIGH SCHOOL! HATED IT! It was horrible. I was so ready to move on and move away for college. I didn't go to parties, when I did try, I wasn't very good at lying about where I was. I am the oldest of 3 so I was very over protected, but it was completely out of love and I totally get it. Every oldest kid is over protected and that's just life. The middle and youngest of the kids always gets away with murder. I however, DID NOT! So... off to college I went!

College - I went to Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC. A ways away from Annapolis, MD! My first week there I went to so many frat parties and parties with girlfriends... I LOVED IT! I loved being out and having my freedom. Well, like Mike said, there's a time for everything. I soon became a girl who could drink the boys under the table, I was a beer pong ringer, flip cup was my forte, and the boys used to make bets that I could beat others at shotgunning a beer. Oh goodness. Needless to say, all the beer sent me into the freshman 25. But I was fine with it, cuz I was having a blast with my friends and I was meeting life long groups. I joined a sorority, met girls just like me who were outgoing, caring, fun and knew how to have a good time. I met boys, kissed boys, had "sleep-overs" and always had a good story the next day. All while keeping a good reputation of course :-) College was the start of my party girl ways and it plays a big part in who I am today! The party girl on 95SX!

After College - I worked all over the place, graphic designer, waitress, marketing assistant, etc. I had 2 major relationships, but had fun relationships in between. Not to say that the major relationships weren't fun! I went to Happy Hours to meet people, I met some of my best girlfriends, I had a great time in Annapolis and then moved back down to Charleston. Charleston is my kind of town. Beach, Downtown, city life, small town life, they've got it all! This town is great for meeting people, there are so many options for happy hour, so many options for good food, and it's definitely a going out town!

Things I LOVE!
Beach Days at Folly, cold beer in my hand, bocci ball, music, cornhole... Nothing makes me happier, maybe a rum drink from Blu while I'm sitting out there too! haha

Sushi dates with my girls! Bushido, Zen, Oku, there are so many great sushi places in town and that makes me sooooooo happy!

A good Sports Bar like Wild Wing Cafe to sit, drink a beer and watch my teams play and WIN! Go Steelers, Go Orioles, Let's go Caps!

Riverdogs Thirsty Thursdays!
Cheap beers, baseball, sunshine, pickle-dogs and good music! Nothing better!

Bars with games! LOVE LOVE LOVE playing POOL, shooting DARTS, shuffleboard, bowling and yes, I LOVE Lucky Strike Bowling video games too, just try to play me, I'll beat you down!

Happy Hour - my kind of hour, 1/2 off drinks, 1/2 off food, good times with friends, what are your favorite Happy Hour spots? I love going to Taco Boy downtown, heading down to Blu on Folly during the summer is really fun too!

BACKYARD hang outs... Grilling out with a cold beer, playing cornhole and just spending time with my friends is my way to spend those hot summer afternoons when everyone just wants to relax together and have some fun times!

CONCERTS! I LOVE CONCERTS! Pop, Rock, Country, I love it all!

Well, that's a little more about me, Kelly G, the party girl!

Kelly G : All things Grammy's!

Tonight is the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards

And I've been amazed so far. Absolutely in awe. Christina redeemed herself tonight. She gave me goosebumps! And JENNIFER HUDSON... HOLY WOW! Have you seen her? She looks amazing, but her voice, is soooooooooo stinkin' AMAZING! Aretha Franklin watch out. She's gonna be the next DIVA, WITHOUT A DOUBT!
Jennifer Hudson Weight Watchers!
She knows what's up...

So how about that Lady Gaga Performance? I thought she was going to do more crazy stuff, but I guess being in an egg for the entire first part of the grammy's was kinda crazy. I was expecting like Cher to pop out, or dare I say it... Madonna singing Express yourself! teehee! Either way, her new song is hot and it's going to be in all of the clubs and I will be shaking my booty to it on the dance floor!

On to more things that caught my eye...
How about that Bieber performance with Usher and Jayden Smith? WHAT?! That was amazing. I had goosebumps when they showed the video of Justin singing to Biebs 4 years ago. I'm not gonna lie, I may have teared up a little bit. He's just too cute! And when he started doing the Usher Moonwalk... let me just say... that was BIEBERTASTIC with some USHERMAZING! Yes, I went there! What did y'all think of it?

On to BEST POP VOCAL ALBUM!
Did you see how Russell Brand looked at Katy Perry when the camera was on her? PURE ENDEARMENT! Absolutely the cutest thing ever, even if he looks a little funny!

Lady Gaga JUST WON and her outfit is STRANGE, but that's totally normal! She thanked her manager, she thanked her sister, so many others. Those SUNGLASSES!
Lady Gaga during her thanks:
"I could be whoever I wanted to be and no matter what I visioned for myself, that I would do it no matter who didn't believe in me."

She thanked Whitney Houston, cuz she imagined that Whitney sang it when she wrote it, cuz she didn't think she was secure enough in her stardom to sing something like that. SO WRONG! That's a GAGA song... COMPLETELY!

LADY ANTEBELLUM... This is where you hear me say how much I love this band. I don't get to talk about them on the air, cuz they're country and not top 40... but they're top 40 in the book of Kelly. What an awesome band. They brought it tonight with an opening of "if you don't know me by now." LOVE, plus they WON for BEST COUNTRY ALBUM! I know what I'm talking about ;-)

okay... confession time... what's up with MILEY CYRUS showing side boob and a little flash of that ribcage tattoo? She needs to just go ahead and admit herself into rehab now... I see it coming. that's all about that now.

Jamie Foxx just introduced Cee Lo and Gwenyth Paltrow and it was hilarious. Can I just say this guy is "FUHH Get you awesome?" hahahahaha
Now for what I think... they've got Cee lo in a feather outfit at a piano, he looks like a fat drag queen at a piano with muppets... is this really happening or did I have too many glasses of wine? I know I didn't smoke any salvia tonight like miley... teehee OMG there are back-up muppet singers... this is probably one of my favorites! It's sooooooooo goofy! Gwenyth Paltrow needs to sing more songs like this cuz I'm thinking she really rocked it. Her saying ASS is hilarious or should I say HILARI-ASS! ok, now I'm getting goofy! She did a great job, and her sitting on the piano, but she should have stayed there instead of trying to dance on it... she looked like an awkward white girl trying to dance... not cool! Did Gwenny have a few drinks before this performance?????? either way, I LOVE IT!

ON A SIDE NOTE... did you see the TARGET commercial where the hairstylist burned the girls hair off? and then they went to a wig special at Target? I LOVED IT hahahaha laughed out loud!

KATY PERRY PERFORMANCE...
I love her outfit... White rhinestone hearts on her skirt? Can someone buy me that? This girl can sing. I heart her. And then out of nowhere they start lifting her up... could this beat Lady Gaga? OMG it's about her wedding with Russell Brand... Her skirt got lifted up and it's huge and it's the back drop for her wedding video marrying her hubby. I LOVE IT! Then they go into Teenage Dream and there are hearts everywhere "for the valentine lovers" It's like she just popped out of a russell stover chocolate box with all the hearts on stage! She makes me happy!

Norah Jones, John Mayer, Keith Urban??? WHAT? Jolene... Norah Jones looks amazing. Hair short... John Mayer, not so much, he looks like he just got admitted to rehab and Keith Urban always looks amazing to me. He's my favorite! :-) Bahaha Keith Urban didn't mean to and he just made a joke about John Mayer, saying that John had won for "daughters" and when he said it he said "and an award that John won for his daughters...everyone giggled... I would have too, he prob does have some illegitimate daughters somewhere! what? did I go there? lol

WHAT?! Seth Rogan just called Miley out for smoking! bahahahaha well he just made a joke about it, saying that he was in the back getting high with her! Pretty funny!

Rihanna, Eminem and Dr. Dre's performance!!!!
Did you see her dress? I LOVE IT! It's pretty hot!
Rihanna brought it and she looked great bringing it too! Eminem still gives me goosebumps. He came out singing in front of the flames and Rihanna got off her mini stage and walked towards the main stage, her dress is still amazing me. They are soooo good together and he even changed the words of the song! As Rihanna sings, Eminem walks around lipping her parts. Eminem's veins are huge p.s. just had to add that! Wow. This performance is one of my favorites. I know I have a lot of favorites, and people make fun of me for that, but this is good! And then, they bring out DR. DRE!!!! His first Grammy performance... God, I missed him! and he looks good!

But the question is... where is drake? Guess him and Rihanna and him have a separate performance! Is this the first time someone (rihanna) has performed twice on the Grammy's????

BEST NEW ARTIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Here it comes. Best New Artist. And I'm praying for my love... Justin Bieber. cuz yes, I have the FEVER! Mike said Florence and the Machine, we shall see!
AND THE GRAMMY GOES TO...

ESPERANZA SPALDING!!!!!! So happy for her, I was pulling for my Biebs, but this will do just fine! :-)
